Mossler Residence, Santa Fe, New Mexico

The hacienda was created by applying adobe plaster to a concrete-block house, by installing beams to the ceilings, and by the addition of the red-roofed portal in the courtyard.  A new wing and portal were added on the rear to create a second courtyard, which overlooks the mountains that circle Santa Fe.  An open floor plan with extended views through every room created a spacial quality not often found in a small house.
